FTCE Test Registration

Register to take the FTCE tests at the FTCE website. FTCE registration is available around the clock and on every day of the week, including holidays. Candidates with credit cards are strongly encouraged to register online. Because there are no registration deadlines for any of the Florida Teacher Certification Examinations, there are no late or emergency fees added to the cost of testing. However, please keep in mind that registrations for particular tests and/ or testing locations are accepted in the order in which they are received. Seating is limited. For this reason, it is in your best interest to register as soon as you determine which tests you must take. Candidates should be prepared to pay all fees at the time of registration. There are two categories of payment. It is less expensive for candidates who pass the CEOE tests on the first try. Later attempts add an additional $20. All subject area exams are $200 for the first attempt. Professional Education tests are $150 on the first try. All combinations of General Knowledge subtests are $130 for the first attempt.

Registration fees add $215 for any group of subtests; $225 if a previous candidate is retesting. Additional copies, score verification and clearing an account are additional services available and range in price from $10-25.

Online registrations must be paid in full at time of registration using a VISA or MasterCard. You can also use a debit card or check card that has a VISA or MasterCard symbol, as long as the card does not require a PIN.
